Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Che Ajaneé!
I have dedicated my time in school, and many years of my professional career to making waves in education. I earned two degrees to prepare myself and give me all the necessary tools to teach and empower students to reclaim their lives and set them up for success in their futures! Embarking on this journey has been arduous, and after making it to the other side, effectively earning my degrees and establishing a career as a High School Teacher, and later a professional working in the Ed-Tech space in Higher Education, I know that goals can be created and accomplished regardless of what may be in your way.
Society has a funny way of creating one single narrative for all educators. One day I decided that I do not need to fit into a box to do what was right for my students or to be an “educator.” Like everybody else, #EducatorsNeedLoveToo! I decided that I would do the work to embark on my dating journey, and investigate what success in dating looks like? But even more importantly, what might that look like for me, while working in education? I dove into the research. I studied, but most importantly I tried it out. I spent hours researching, getting out there, trying out different methods, and gaining the bumps and bruises along the way so you wouldn’t have to! As an educator who dates, I can confidently say that the journey is worth it, and with people like me, you don’t have to go on it alone!

MY WHY?
Once I became honest with myself about the type of life I wanted to live, and the work I needed to do to get there everything changed forever. Throughout my life, I was accustomed to making a plan and accomplishing goals for my education, and my career. I was taught that anything I wanted for myself was at my disposal, regardless of naysayers or systemic roadblocks! This constant messaging is spread far and wide, and yet society also says that romance is up to chance, or essentially out of our control! The moment that I decided my love life was not something that happened by chance, and that I have control in the events and outcomes of it, I changed my life.
Diving into this work has been a whirlwind, to say the least, and yet I continue to be fueled by the growth and positivity that has entered my life since starting this journey! And I am positive that you can come along with me. Through research and experiments, I’ve learned that dating and romance aren’t supernatural forces amongst us, but skills that can be learned and taught! Today, I am dedicated to teaching others so even more people can begin to #ReclaimLove! Once you decide what you want, and you decide what you will do to accomplish that, your whole life will change. Excuses all fall away once we realize #EducatorsNeedLoveToo
